Not in the US they can't... unless you can prove actual wrongdoing (i.e. they faked/counterfeit bank guarantees or other such measures to get you to extend credit you otherwise would not have) - this isn't criminal - it's civil and will simply be treated as an unpaid bill. If you extended credit based on good faith and they simply didn't pay the bill and say they just don't have money to pay the bills there's really nothing you can do about it on the criminal level. You'll be able to get a judgement against the company - but not against the owners. And a judgement against the company is as good as toilet paper considering they're obviously not in good financial standing, and there's no property to seize anyway. You'd be wasting your time and money going after them. Welcome to the US (lack of) legal system... It's easy to sue, it's easy to win, GOOD LUCK collecting.... _______________________________________________ --Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com-- asterisk-biz mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-biz
