Maybe all the information is in one of your mails, but if you posted
1) your zapata.conf, 2) your zaptel.conf, 3) the output when running
ztcfg -v, and 4) the error message, all together, maybe someone might
be able to spot some obvious problem with your config that you missed?
BTW, the "visual" configuration of the board might also be good:
("green+green+empty+red")...
