Well, I don't know enough of the history of the port, but I could imagine that 
stuff has to be done step by step, and having the hardware available or not 
might be part of the issue. But anyway, I can't speak on that, perhaps others 
will.

But do you mean 'the card was no longer supported when going from zaptel to 
dahdi'?  Or do you mean within the dahdi port itself?
