Sean,

If you'll look over the past week or so, I think you'll find 10 or so messages from me - NONE of them being questions, all answers to other peoples questions. I could have been a smart-ass to all of them as well. Their problems were - IMHO - no-brainers. The fact that Von Smart-ass didn't answer them in a like manner leads me to believe that he WAS trying to slam me personally. That's OK though. I have a long memory. I try to help people when I can though. I spent several minutes on the telephone with another list member today walking him through getting his IAX connection up to a new provider. I don't know him from Adam and again - it was a no-brainer to me but, I wasn't an asshole to him. I helped him instead.

Think about it. Which takes more effort? Answering my "stupid" question Yes/No or being a smartass about it? It is evident that he was trying to be a smartass.

If you don't like smart-assed replies, I'd recommend you try to answer
your own questions first. It is a very easy thing to test. As a matter
of fact, the demo config files do exactly this. No one here is out to
slam you personally. Don't take it that way. As a matter of fact,
everyone is here to help each other. All we ask is that you try to help
yourself first, then post along with what your problem is, what you
tried, and any relevant errors you received in your test. I don't think
that's asking too much....

Hi!

Is it possible to have nested include statements in iax.conf?
Example:

Why don't you simply test this yourself and report your findings?

OK. The reason I asked was for an answer, not a smart-assed reply. If
you don't know, don't bother answering.

I'll be sure to send the same type of reply to the next question I see
from you to the list.

Now, for those of you who were wondering the same thing, yes - you can
nest includes.
