FWD uses SER and hardware gateways, it's alot more involved than Asterisk to set up To use it like Asterisk you have to integrate it with other components like SEM( Doesn't work at all) or Vocal. Most sane people integrate it with Asterisk or SIPX (SIPX requires alot more linux knowledge and dedication actually but its better for SIP) if they can't afford a class 5 switch. Im afraid you will be dissapointed if you are looking for something better than * thats free, both in terms of ease of use and functionality.
I don't really remember if you're the poster that was new to posix environments and uses Ondo? If so you might look at Java MobiCents, which will be better than Asterisk when its stable ........................... in about 50 years ;) ---- Shidan On 3/1/06, B Nik <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hello, > > What is a good free SIP out there now? something like FWD? > Though FWD doesn't have good quality and it doesn't take DTMF properly. > > Any feedback will be appreciated. > > Regards, > Bruce > > ________________________________ > Free yourself from those irritating pop-up ads with MSN Premium.
