FWD uses SER and hardware gateways, it's alot more involved than
Asterisk to set up To use it like Asterisk you have to integrate it
with other components like SEM( Doesn't work at all) or Vocal. Most
sane people integrate it with Asterisk or SIPX (SIPX requires alot
more linux knowledge and dedication actually but its better for SIP)
if they can't afford a class 5 switch. Im afraid you will be
dissapointed if you are looking for something better than * thats
free, both in terms of ease of use and functionality.
I don't really remember if you're the poster that was new to posix
environments and uses Ondo? If so you might look at Java MobiCents,
which will be better than Asterisk when its stable
........................... in about 50 years ;)
