Reza,
I am using Global Crossing and they have been providing me very good quality in both voice audio and customer service. They are fairly competitive in pricing; however, they use a different pricing scheme than per minute on 'Local VoIP Inbound'. They charge per DID/month, sold in blocks of 20 or 100 which are very well priced. Apart from that you pay a simultaneous call capacity charge and that's where they get expensive (up to $19/mo/circuit). On the other hand, the quality and professionalism of a Tier I global carrier and major backbone operator is as good as it gets, so I also think it's a case of 'you get what you pay for'. In the event of any problems, you just call the NOC in London 24.7.365 and are attended to immediately, with of course a trouble ticket and close tracking. They currently offer 942 rate centers in the top 40 markets in the USA and are coming out with new offerings for Europe and Latin America soon, but have no Canadian DIDs and have not said they plan to. The one major drawback is the slow turn-around, it will likely take 2-3 months to get from initial contact, to contract, to inter-op certification, and finally through the turn-up. But it may be worth it if your DID in-bound business is big enough and your planning for a long-term solution/partner. Also, they accept only SIP/g.729 interconnects. If you are interested in a contact, let me know and I can turn you on to some of my contacts. Can I use the word [EMAIL PROTECTED] ?? By the way, that's 5 letter word and not the 4 letter word. Instead of #####ing about one of my current American DID providers - I have a simple question. Can anyone recommend me a company, providing reliable service for US based DIDs with competitive rates of 1 cent per minute across the US - but having good customer service. I don't care if it takes them 24-48 hours to respond, but I definitely care if an open ticket is not answered and/or resolved in over 2 bloody weeks... and when you try to escalate your ticket to EMERGENCY, they will bill you if they feel the ticket was indeed not an emergency. Instead of #####ing about this company, I want to move on forward and find another company as reliable as Unlimitel. Please share your good experience about an American DID provider if you subscribe to one. Thanks in advance! Cheers!
