Anyone have experience with doing automated dialing with modems?
I have an issue with dialing dtmf into IVR in just one areacode, but not
sure is termination.
Dialing the number with modem, no issue, but then dial dtmf digits into
an IVR system modem dtmf not being transmitted. Strange thing is that if
I use a phone connected to the ATA and manually dial the IVR digits it
works, and this only happens in a single areacode (305 Miami ) and works
in 15 others ( 210 San Antonio, 407 Orlando, 404 Atlanta, 506
Fredericton.....).
Also this worked up until 10 days ago ( for years ), I have had issues
in the past and typically it is the termination, but I can't complain if
it works when using an analogue phone or a sip phone.
Configuration:
Computer with full duplex AOpen ( rockwell chipset ) modem.
SPA-2000 with DTMF set to AUTO ( have also tried with AVT & AVT+INFO )
In asterisk the dtmfmode for both the extension and the trunck are set
to rfc2833.
Anyone have any ideas?
