Hi Dave, we can get under the hood of Trixbox by including modification
that don't get erased every time a refresh/update is done. If you have a
code snippet that can substitute the CID for the Trunk name that may be
enough to  do the job. We could get Trixbox to Incorporate this in a
future release.
All it would require is a field called Trunk name in the "Trunk" web page
or a check box to use the trunk name as is.. ie IAX/XYZ_INC.
Let me know if you want to take this on as a little project.
