Hi, I've previously steered clear of trying to fax through an Asterisk box, but does anyone here do it?
I'm looking for reasons for or against using an ATA to plug a fax machine into. I'm not interested in using Asterisk to answer and email faxes - I just want the ability to use a fax machine on a PRI that is plugged into an Asterisk box. I imagine reliability is the issue, but how big an issue is it? Thanks, Dave.
