I have posted this before but I am still trying to get this to work
Here are my steps as of this morning:


 1. Download a new copy of Trixbox 2.2.4 ISO (incase mine was corrupted)

2. Unplug power and reset all Phones

3. Install new Trixbox ISO

4. Log on to web GUI after install completed

5. Download Modules for freePBX

6. Setup General Settings in freePBX

7. Setup two SIP Extensions in freePBX (2603 and 2604) enabled voicemail on
both extensions and add password and left everything else as default

8. Ran setup-polycom script for my two Polycom 330 phones

9. Power on Both Polycom 330 phones and used End Point Manager to Match them
to the Extensions

10. Power off Polycoms and reboot Trixbox

11. Polycoms are both online and registered

12. Test Polycoms by calling each other all tested ok

13. Setup Trunks in freePBX

14. Setup Outbound Routes, Tested it by using Polycom Phone to call my cell,
All tested Ok

15. Setup Inbound Routes and Set Destination to Core: extension 2603

16. Tested Inbound Routes by calling from cell phone. Test was ok and the
phone rang


 VOICE MAIL TEST

17. Called from cell phone. extension 2603 rang 5 times then the voicemail
greeting came on, after the prompt I left a message and disconnected.

18. Check ARI no messaged was saved.

19. Create New extension 2605, Enabled voicemail and left everything else as
default

20. Download X-lite soft phone. Installed and registered to extension 2605

21. Set Inbound route to extension 2605 xlite softphone

22. Called in from Cell phone, extension 2605 rang 5 times then went to
voicemail, I left a message

23. Check xlite NO MESSAGE RECORED check ARI (NO MESSAGE RECORED)

24. DID this two more times with same result.

25. Ran this command "find /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/default/ -name
"*.wav" -ls" Nothing was found

26. Edit Permissions

chown -R asterisk.asterisk /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail

chmod -R 770 /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail

chmod 775 /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/device

27. Called in from Cell phone again, same result. (NO MESSAGE RECORED)



 VOICE MAIL TEST 2 (direct to voicemail)

28. Change inbound route to voicemail box 2603. After leaving message the
Polycom lite up right away to say that there is a message waiting.

29. Ran Command " find /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/default/ -name "*.wav"
-ls "

2154425 260 -rwx------ 1 asterisk asterisk 259884 Sep 17 13:28
/var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/default/2603/INBOX/msg0000.wav

30. Did this on all extensions with Same results. (MESSAGE RECORDED)


 What is going on here, I only get a message to record if I bypass the
extensions and send all calls directly to voicemail.

Please does anyone have an idea of what to do next.
