Hey Nabeel: This is interesting to know! Didn't know the SNOM and Grandstreams were on a 5V supply. Yes, I noticed on the doc which specifically mentioned a Linksys phone units and the ATA units that piggy backed (daisy chained) the power supply.
Thanks for sharing! Cheers! The dongle works perfectly on snom and Grandstream phones, the advantage with them compared to Aastra is that they natively have a 5V power supply and the WBP54G doesn't need a separate power supply. The snom power supply is a perfect fit, while the Grandstream is very slightly different, but still fits and works. > -----Original Message----- > From: Reza - Asterisk Enthusiast [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: September 19, 2007 12:36 PM > To: TAUG > Subject: [on-asterisk] Linksys WiFi Dongle - on non Linksys SIP Phones. > > Hello everyone: > > Not sure if anyone was as crazy as me to try a Linksys WiFi Dongle on > an > Aastra 480i and 9133i. series.
