This is interesting to know!    Didn't know the SNOM and Grandstreams were 
on a 5V supply.    Yes, I noticed on the doc which specifically mentioned a 
Linksys phone units and the ATA units that piggy backed (daisy chained) the 
power supply.

The dongle works perfectly on snom and Grandstream phones, the advantage
with them compared to Aastra is that they natively have a 5V power supply
and the WBP54G doesn't need a separate power supply. The snom power supply
is a perfect fit, while the Grandstream is very slightly different, but
still fits and works.
