Just got off a repair call with Bell. The tech said they only support NI-2 out West. In Ontario he swore they have never supported NI-2, but I've been installing sytems with NI-2 even before working with Asterisk, and this is the first time I have heard of this in many years. I am pretty sure NI-2 is now ubiquitous across North America.
I even asked him to check with his colleauge, and they concurred: Bell does not support NI-2 outside of Calgary, only NI-1. Label me confused.
