Try typing an area code such as 416 310-bell or 905 310-bell.

I have done that and it works.

Subject: [on-asterisk] How to call Bell operator or 310-BELL through a sip
vsp?

Hi all,

The subject line says it all...

How do we contact Bell Canada using a sip service?

Whenever I have tried to call, for example, 310-2355, I get a
pre-recorded message: "the number you have dialed canot be reached from your
area code".

The only Bell line I have now is a dry-loop to provide ADSL from
another ISP. So, I have no affiliation with Bell at all, but sometimes it is
necessary to contact Bell.

Is it VSP specific? or is there a magic number? or is it possible?
from sip/voip-only connections?

        TIA,

        --terry
