Hi all,
the definitive answers are these:
1) You can only call the Bell operator "0" from a Bell phone (landline
or mobile).
2) the Bell Business office (310-BELL) can be dialed by prefixing the
905 area code. My local area code "705" will not work prefixed to the 310-2355
number. Perhaps "416" will work, I didn't try it.
thanks to all who responded.

number, effectively dialing 1-905-310-2355. Lesnet peer dials, but I get a
voice message saying that this is a local call. If I change my dial plan to
dial "905-310-2355", lesnet refuses to complete the call, saying that all
numbers must begin with a "1".

here?
