Ok then, here is something you might find interesting. I needed a way
to add volume control so when the mother-in-law called I could crank up
the outbound volume. I decided to detect her caller id, and then bridge
her call into a conference. This gave me that ability to raise or lower
volume using the conference features. On outgoing calls to her I set up
a speeddial number that would accomplish the same. Maybe not the best
solution but it worked. There may be a glitch in the dial command
option though because if I chose to squelch the join conference message
then sometimes the audio would be missing when the call was bridged.

show off enough different features using strictly dialplan that it
gets some peoples gears running in their head, thereby allowing them
