Hey Reza, I bought a 7960 and 7970 sometime back and flashed them both with SIP.
flashing them with SIP can be a real pain in the.... but once they are configured and running, they appear to be reliable phones. I cant speak for other models, but the 7960 and 7970 sound abd build quality is very good. The 7970 has a touchscreen by the way. Their large screens can do a few nifty stuff with custom code, similar to the polycom 550, 650 etc but better unless polycom has revamped their sdk's etc for the screen interface, browser support etc. I had managed to write code in asp, php and bash to get to the 7970 to show me the contacts in my microsoft exchange mailbox on the phone's browser and dial out directly from the phone. It is unfortunate that Cisco has basically abandoned the SIP side of their voip systems (or so it appears). My asterisk pbx was based on Pbx in a flash, running 32bit 1.4 on bare metal and everything just works fine, there are quirks here and there but the phone itself operates reliably for me anyways. I have never played with Linksys or Aastra phones yet, my experiences are based primarily on polycom phones and some Snom's.
