I am using PIAF and am wondering about Follow Me.... As an example I have three
extensions:
Extension 301 -
FollowMe - 301
FollowMe - 302
FollowMe - 303
FollowMe - 4165555555
Extension 302 -
FollowMe - 302
FollowMe - 301
FollowMe - 303
FollowMe - 4165555555
Extension 303 -
FollowMe - 303
FollowMe - 301
FollowMe - 302
FollowMe - 4165555555
I'm not too worried about why someone would do this or alternatives(although
I'm open to suggestions), but more specific to my concern is, if someone dials
extension 301... since it's Followme dials 4165555555, it also follows to 302
and 303, both of which ALSO dial 4165555555... does the system dial 4165555555
three times then? Or is it smart enough to know it's already be
dialled/followed once? In similar fashion, is the same done with the
extensions? My instinct tells me it's smart enough, but I am experiencing some
odd behaviour with extensions not working (more in another email post) and came
across this setup and it's got me thinking.
