Hello Bruce:
With my Mobilicity - I have a thorough output of 700+ kbps UP and close
to 3Mb DOWN w/approx 90ms delay and have successfully deployed and
tested on G729 with exactly 10 phone calls, where each end was on Music
On Hold test. No problem. The only reason I did not push more phones
in the test is because I ran out of power supply/extension chords. You
are welcome to borrow my Mobilicity and test drive.
If I were you, I would go with Rogers Stick as they have the highest
speed so far. We also tested the phones at a business networking
meeting running 5 phones through Rogers Stick, running at full Ulaw.
We did not have any problems. Keep in mind, the standing calls were
short, under 5 minutes. The standing calls on my Mobilicity and
Windstick was over one hour. It would have likely gone for longer
duration if I didn't put my coffee in the microwave (not kidding!).
As soon as Microwave was turned on (close proximity to the 3G sticks),
the connections went dead.
Hope this stat helps you out.
Cheers!
Reza.
PS: Speaking of 3G sticks and 3G Wireless routers that we are
circulating, there are approximately 10 in circulation within the TAUG
community. I need them back guys, to put it back in the loaner pool.
Please make an effort to return them to me or drop them off at any 3 of
my designated retail outlet drop zones.

Hi Everyone,
Looking to transfer some voice channels over the internet and need to decide
which stick to go with along with a Rogers cable connections that is dedicated
to the same purpose.
Location is 1Km of freeways 409/427 intersection.
I know Reza had success with Windmobile but I am not sure if 1Mbps will be
enough for 15 or more channels. Maximum 23. Please give me some feedback if you
use sticks from any provider in these areas or surroundings.
Thanks,
Bruce
