Though my systems are very small, I do something similar but keep all my config files from /etc/asterisk in their own CVS module for each system; this both gives me a backup and makes it easier to create an upgraded system HD like Henry does when I've wanted to. That said, I often just upgrade binary packages provided by OpenBSD, because I know they're tested and because we can upgrade a program while it's running without any problems. I have been lucky not to have had the 'recompile with a bug fix' need that the OP had. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
