Hi Reza, Those are all meaty and practical questions but I'll take the low hanging fruit here. Kevin Fleming posted to Announce the other day with an explanation on the version. The short story is that they decided Asterisk would always grow incrementally and not in big leaps such as would be indicated by a 2.0.
