AsteriskNow is RPM package based, so to patch it the 'right' way, you'd have to 
download the source, patch it, build rpms from the patched source, and 
'upgrade' the install with those rpms. 

That said, running 'make install' on the compiled source in an AsteriskNow 
install over-writes the old stuff (assuming asterisk is stopped) and you should 
be running the new version.
