The download was approximately 67 meg. I'll need to go in later and see how much space it's using. I share the CF card between the boot and opt partitions. It's 256 meg on the card, with 224meg in the opt partition. The opt partition is either 35% or 45% used at this point. I'm also considering moving Perl into the Opt partition and off of my keydisk (also 256meg).
The hardest part was juggling available space when unzipping the distribution. If I had less space available, I would have had to unzip it to the Keydisk and then install it into Opt. Yes, I will go back and edit the astup.ex file. How do I preserve the symbolic links I put in the /opt/bin directory? Do I list them in astup.ex individually? or does this file only contain directories?
