I'm running AstLinux .030 in a dual-NIC configuration as my home firewall/pbx/php playground.  I set up rc.conf with my DynDns.org credentials.  Everything works great!  but..

I've been working on the file system (I wanted to change the http daemon to be useable by my Cisco 7960 that doesn't speak SSL) and in that process, have been resetting the system.. a lot.  Today I got an email from dyndns saying that my account is suspended because I keep updating them with the same public IP over and over.  Which they consider abusive.

I'm still a Linux neophyte, is there a config change I can make to help AstLinux cache my public IP, and not update DynDNS on every reboot if it's "new" IP is the same as the old IP?
