I'm having problems booting from a CF on a 586 system. I get the following error(s)
VFS: Cannot open root device "hda1" or unknown-block(0,0) Please append a correct "root=" boot option The CF is plugged into an CF/IDE converter Googling, returns the following as a fix, but am I missing something? I'm not an Linux expert, so achieving the suggested fix is beyond me. you must "INCLUDE IDE/ATA disk Support" compile in your kernel and not as module... Anyone give any pointers?
