...er, I didn't finish: Staying with a FAT-16 formatting will make it easier 
to boot from USB (that's the standard DOS/Windows formatting for small 
media). On my Mini-ATX motherboard with AMI Bios, a FAT-16 USB keydrive 
seems to require BIOS settings for "Boot from USB removable FDD", rather 
than "USB HDD".
