I use it on Suse Linux, but with a non-Suse "grub". I took grub from a CentOS installation because I had some problems with the Suse grub version (it didn't want to detect/offer hd1 where my usb scsi reader is attached to)... Since we are talking about a development environment, I would not spend too much effort on maintaining support for many different distros. We all know, it works fine on CentOS, CentOS is freely available and everyone can use a CentOS system to build a customized Astlinux version.
