Mike,
In the near future I will be documenting my new bootloader (Runnix)
that will handle all of these problems. Until then, you don't need the
windows installer to write it to flash from windows. If you have the
Windows installer, you can simply replace the geni586.img or net4801.img
file with any image you want.
