Kristian, If it is not a lot of work, could you supply ssmtp as the basic default MTA in 0.4.X?
When msmtp (or other) becomes available, the user could opt for that. Maybe ssmtp is abandoned, it is simple and it works for me. A lot of distros offer it. The irony is I am using ssmtp (in 0.3.0) and without it in 0.4.2 I am happy and will stick with 0.3.0.
