hi, I am planning to compile latest asterisk release. I want to know any caveats or special needs in order to do so. The whole point of this is that i want to use the tiny astlinux in a CF but with latest asterisk. I have no need to use the graphical system to manage asterisk or the whole idea of having a single .conf file for asterisk. I simply want to run latest asterisk but continue to this small and reliable distribution.
Kris, do you do that for a fee or is something that can be done by us? Also, what is the practical (real life scenarios) duration of a CF card in read only mode and voicemail being recorded to a second partition in the CF OR voicemail being recorded to a usb disk?
