there is one other issue I forgot to mention ... TrixBox depends on an AGI script to provide a lot of their built in functionality ... these are mostly PBX services but I think thier equivilent of the "std-extension" dial macro is also implemented in this AGI script ... I would not count on the TrixBox AGI script working in the slimmed down Linux environment that Aslinux uses ...
 
so the bottom line is that a lot of the functions you know and love from TrixBox will have to be recreated using your own code when you move to a platform like Astlinux which depends on the default Asterisk .conf files ...
