Hi, I am sure you have seen this question before and I am
also sure I have fallen into the trap that a lot of newbies do – so I am sorry
to bother you all out there, but… I am having great fun with AstLinux, this being my
first venture into anything like this, and all is well apart from I have
purchased a X100P card from ebay to play with PSTN interfacing (I can hear the
groans). I have managed to get the configuration working and created a channel
and can make one of my extensions ring on an incoming call, but I cannot get
Caller ID to work. Apparently here in the I now see there is lots of discussion about this very
issue, a patch has been created to store this info in a history buffer, but no
definitive answer. So do I need to find, compile & apply some patches
(which I have no idea how to do) or have these patches made their way into the
latest version of AstLinux? Please don’t shout at me too much for bothering
you with what is probably a tedious question. Thanks Pete |
