..exactly..

        Digium made a decent (and improving) interface WITHOUT requiring 
Apache, MySQL, Perl, kitchen sink, etc, etc like everything else out there.

        Once Asterisk 1.4 is running well in AstLinux, I can add this GUI and 
literally increase the footprint by about ~1mb.  Awesome!
