Hi Tony, yes, I was using trunk revision 457. I built for i586/net4801. After checking out that revision and running straight away 'make' I had a problem with uClibc. I could solve it by removing the toolchain build directory. uClibc was build again - properly, no patching required.
I don't know if it makes a difference if you build for i586 or i686. Either you try it out or maybe Kristian can enlighten us ;-) Regarding the config file & questions: the questions are normal if there are new options to select. You could i.e. run once make menuconfig and just exit/save. regards, Ingmar Tony Plack wrote: > Ingmar, I removed the toolchain_build_i686 and still get the same message. > > I am running revision 457 and it brings in the uClib patches still. > > I am finding the trunk enabling the 686 by default (which is fine by me) and > you stated 586, are you sure you have the latest trunk? > > Still an issue, and removing the patches physically seems the only bypass. > If you wait till it fails, you need to remove the reject files as well. > > In addition, the config files are still not correct because of the number of > questions MAKE kicks back out to the console. > > -----Original Message----- > From: Ingmar Schraub: > > Hello Tony, > > delete the 'toolchain_build_i586' folder and do a make again.
