By that's exactly what we do, I meant...
AstLinux includes OpenNTPD instead of U-Del NTP. According to:
http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/man.cgi?query=ntpd
If you start ntpd with -s, it will set time immediately upon startup,
which is exactly what ntpdate does. That's what we use in AstLinux.
OpenNTPD is much less complex (and thus smaller and more secure) than
U-Del ntp, and thanks to -s, you don't need ntpd AND ntpdate :).
I'm sorry, I should be more specific next time. Are you having any
problems?
