I updated my build to 1895 and am rebuilding now. I lost the config file from when I built the 1670 that works, however if I remember correctly it was all defaults except I added a couple packages like asterisk-gui etc to it... I also played around a little and am able to manually mount the image when I get dropped to the shell..
I did a mount astlinux-trunk-1890.run /mnt/root And it will mount up fine.. on loop0 so im trying to figure out why it wont mount on bootup.. I will see what happens with trunk 1895 but it didn't look like much was updated from 1890 to 1895.. Not knowing how the system actually boots and what script runs that mounts the root Filesystem otherwise id go look at that script and see where it fails... im still fairly new at doing the builds so im not sure of the whole boot process yet.. at least not yet as far as what occurs in the bootloader stage.. -Christopher -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Darrick Hartman Sent: Friday, August 15, 2008 10:49 AM To: AstLinux Users Mailing List Subject: Re: [Astlinux-users] Trunk image will not mount - need a little help Chris, What image do you need? (device type: generic i586, via, net5501 etc). I have several built with svn 1895 which have been stable and work well. If you're building your own, update to the latest svn as there have been several changes which may or may not affect what you see. The mount error is not related to fsck so I would be willing to bet that there is something wrong with the way that image was created.
