It's a firewall that I've been using for several years. It's well tested and actively developed. It is much more full featured than astfw. astfw can work well if you have a deep understanding of Linux iptables. Arno's firewall uses iptables. Right now you can edit the firewall.conf file for Arno's Firewall from the new web interface, but it's only editing the text file. I'd imagine Lonnie's implementation would either add a new tab or button off the network page to configure the firewall without forcing you to edit the firewall.conf file directly.
