Tom,

0.6.8 is only a security fix. No new features were added. You'll need
to move to the 0.7 images to get the realtek driver in the net5501 image.

I've been building 0.7 images and have the latest builds available at
http://mirror.astlinux.org/beta-firmware

There should be no major issues which would prevent use on production
systems. All of the developers have been using systems based on this
code for months. I've had a few systems in production use for a similar
time frame.

We're just looking for a little more feedback before cutting these loose
on the public as 'released' versions.

I'm still contemplating pulling wanpipe support from the default image
and perhaps netsnmp to keep the size of the images down. If we do that,
people using those features would need to build their own images from
the development environment.

For my production use, I build images with several features disabled
(wanpipe, wifi, netsnmp, tftpd and a few others)..
