Something interesting. I am trying to do an upgrade from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1 and it still shows 1.0.0 after the reboot. When I do a check version it shows 1.0.1 after reboot. See attached sceenshots. This is a i586 generic system which works well with 1.0.0 And this is what I have in my: pbx os # pwd /oldroot/cdrom/os pbx os # ls -al total 65584 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Jan 25 06:43 . drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 16384 Jan 1 1970 .. -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 15 Jan 25 06:43 Xver -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 0 Jan 11 03:18 astflag -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 32628736 Dec 13 15:28 astlinux-1.0.0.run -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 453 Dec 13 15:28 astlinux-1.0.0.run.conf -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 61 Dec 13 15:28 astlinux-1.0.0.run.sha1 -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 32649216 Jan 11 03:18 astlinux-1.0.1.run -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 390 Jan 11 03:18 astlinux-1.0.1.run.conf -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 61 Jan 11 03:18 astlinux-1.0.1.run.sha1 -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1038 Oct 16 08:18 default.conf -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1828964 Jan 11 03:18 initrd.img -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 15 Jan 25 06:43 ver

This version is available with either Asterisk 1.4.43 or Asterisk 1.8.8.3. A full changelog and upgrade (or new install) instructions are available on our website. Please follow the upgrade instructions carefully when upgrading from a release prior to 1.0. http://www.astlinux.org Please note that this release includes a change in the way PATA (ide) devices are handled by the kernel. Those devices are now handled by libata which references the drives as /dev/sdx instead of /dev/hdx. As always, please report any issues (and comments) to the AstLinux mailing list on Sourceforge.
