Ok I now have a customer who want to distribute presence information between Bria (XMPP) and Asterisk BLF. I think we may have discussed this before but I don’t think it was in detail.
As far as I am aware, Asterisk can connect as a client into Prosody and can determine presence state however it is unable to set state based on its hints. Im a bit confused about the pubsub and distribute_events in jabber.conf. Is this totally different? Does anyone have any ideas? Will I need to write a polling script that is the middleware between the two say using sendxmpp and Astman? Regards Michael Knill
