I have rebooted several times but the networking does not properly start and find the cable modem IP address and therefore I have no internet.  How to kick start the old system into finding the cable modem IP so that It can finish connecting the network back up ?  All the help I can google refers to newer versions than this one and so do not help.

I am planning to modernize the hardware later this year and go with much more modern version.  I am not ready yet to start that.
