Hi Jiri, My webcam is upside down as well on a 64bit system. The solution as mentioned here didn't work (http://radu.cotescu.com/2009/11/05/flipped-images-ubuntu-webcam/), not even with a 32bit Skype.
But, did you manage to get your suspend / resume working? And, are you using the restricted Nvidia drivers? Mine are not working, and result on a blank screen during boot.
