I can be an active beta-tester for ath5k in AP mode, because i really need this 
functionality on my HomeServer %)

Now I have Jetway NC92-330-LF motherboard, D-Link DWA-520 PCI WiFi:

I don't know why, but earlier lspci give me information about AR5001X+ chip.

At this time I compile compat-wireless-2.6 (2009-03-11) module with AP-mode 
patch. I use hostapd 0.6.8 and my AP work ugly: ping about 100ms, strange 
timeouts, many unsuccessful connect attempts from notebook, etc...
