Hello Guys, I have been trying to configure an AR5413/14 card 5/10 MHz through debugfs by writing into the /sys/kernel/debug/ieee80211/phy0/ath5k/bwmode and the value seems to change (when invoquing cat on the same node). What I am not still sure is that this is enough to perform bwmode and effectively transmit with that base bandwidth.
The reason why I am not sure is that I have tested an freshly compiled ath5k driver trying to communicate with a patched driver (from GCDC website http://www.gcdc.net/mainmenu/Home/downloads/Technology) - which still seems to be unstable, but fairly working. The tests haven't been successful when using 10MHz in the newest driver (as it should). Do you know how to effectively use 10MHz bwmode, or check it is working (without having to use an spectrum analyzer?). It was nice to find this recent post. It would be useful for me any follow up to this.
