Hello, I've a TP-Link TL-WN422G using Atheros AR9271 chipset. I have downloaded and installed compat-wireless-2.6.36-4 and copied the newest ar9271.fw to /lib/firmware.
The driver recognizes the stick and I am able to scan using "iwlist wlan0 scan". But I am not able to connect to a network. I have tried unencrypted und WEP-encrypted networks using iwconfig. No error occurs but when I do iwconfig it says: "Access Point: Not-Associated" I also tried to connect to a WPA2-encrypted network. I copied the config-file from a working machine so the key is definitely correct.
