Right, Peter; this is beginning to sound like the tactics GDUI is using and
for no reason. It seems the president shouldn't have that kind of power,
and she certainly had time--between elections, etc.--to bring this to the
floor in an honest, forthright manner rather than slinking around to do it.
Thank God for lists that help us out that are hosted elsewhere and
thus can't be corrupted by power misused.

Hi, Denny:
I appreciate the awkwardness of your situation, and thank you for letting us
know. I would welcome learning what the hell is going on.
Best, Peter

Subject: [ATI] MCB Lists
It's not really my place to make this announcement but I believe the members
of MCB should be notified that our president is shutting down all of the
list serves that we have. This list is the only one that is active but will
be shut down today sometime. The lists that are included in the shut down
are the chat list, the Missouri-L list and the Education and Welfare list.
I'm not sure about the Guide Dog list, the Board list or the thrift store
list, but if the others are shut down then all of them should be. I also
believe that an announcement should have been made before this was done as
to why they are being shut down.
