I do not have one but I have used the new one. Mine died a month before the
new one was released. I like the new one. It is a little smaller and the
speaker is louder. The key board is the same but it might have a few new
settings. It is wireless but only for moving files from your computer. It
has no browser or anything so you can't go straight to bard and download a
book.
The bard mobile app is pretty nice so have you thought about a IPhone or an
IPad mini?

Subject: [ATI] New Victor Reader Stream

Hello All,

I have decided my poor Victor Stream is history, and I have started looking
for a replacement. I noticed that the Victor Reader Stream I have has been
replaced with a newer version and there has been an addition of a desktop
model called the Victor Stratus. My question is does any of you have the
newer Victor Stream? I read a review that said that it was not as good as
the older version, but it has some nice features that the older one didn't
have such as wireless capabilities. I would appreciate any feedback on the
newer Victor Reader Stream to help me make an informed decision regarding
which device to purchase. I have had my Victor Stream for quite a while now
and love it's portability. That is one thing that I noticed that is not
available in the Stratus model. It is more of a desktop model like the NLS
player. I am considering the new Victor Reader Stream, but I have also seen
one other device that is promising as well. I think it is called the Plex
talk. Any input would be appreciated about either of these devices. I am
looking for portability, clear crisp sound, ability to play NLS and Reading
Alley content, the ability to record lectures, and ease of use. Thank you in
advance for any reviews or product information you can offer.

Alicia
