Alicia, I purchased the new stream after I have the old one provided from the Wolfner program a while back. I have grown to love the old stream and when the new and improved model came along, had to buy it. I use it for just about everything although I do have a few of the Apple products. I don’t know why it’s my go to gadget but it has never failed me for recording lectures, reading books, NLS, MP3 and also word documents transferred to the unit and now, online content including NFB newsline. I like the size of the buttons and the layout as well, maybe because I’m an old guy and still like buttons instead of smooth glass. Remember that MCB could help with the price if you are eligible for their grant. Hope this helps.
