Actually, it seems that only Luke is seing no need at syncing
"insignificant" changes.
James seems just not liking the way I proposed it could be done
(app:modified).
Let's continue discussion trying to figure out what can be done. There
might be better solutions than app:modified, my mind is open. It however
seems to me that app:modified is simple enough.
If we go with something like a {daterange} URI template based on an
app:modified-like property, people will probably wonder why it isn't
visible within the atom:entry metadata, even if it's not really needed in
this case. However, as there seems to be aggrement so far leaning to
optional URI templates, something is needed in the "bare paged traversal"
scenario to take care of "insignificant" changes. The simpler solution
seems to be an app:modified property and a listing sorted on that
property.
