I don't have a spare FC5 box but I recorded a program today with mythtv upgraded a few minutes earlier - and a reboot. Here's the backend output of the transcode operation. There was no frontend output during this time slot. I think my comments about mp3/mp2 were mistaken. The mp3 codec is loaded but then discarded.
